Plantation Heritage
Peter Matkovich wove the estate's historic stone chimney — a relic of the old sugar mill — into the signature 15th hole, blending Mauritius's past with world-class golf.
North Coast Exclusive
The island's only full championship course north of Port Louis — the natural base for golfers staying in Grand Baie, Trou aux Biches, or Grand Gaube.
Academy for All Levels
Three PGA professionals on staff, no handicap requirement, and a 300m double-ended driving range make this the best course on the island to develop your game.
Course Overview
As the only 18-hole championship course in the north of Mauritius, Mont Choisy Le Golf occupies a privileged position on a former sugar estate just minutes from Grand Baie's beaches and boutiques. Peter Matkovich's 2017 design artfully incorporates volcanic rock formations, natural wetlands, and the evocative stone chimney of the old plantation era into a seamlessly flowing layout of 6,245 metres.
Twin hosting duties for the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open have brought DP World Tour stars to these fairways and broadcast them to a global audience. The Golf Academy with three PGA professionals and a no-handicap-required policy make it equally welcoming to absolute beginners and scratch golfers alike.

SouthChampionshipLa Réserve Golf Links
La Réserve Golf Links at Heritage Golf Club delivers an unparalleled experience of pure golfing drama. Co-designed by Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen — who describes the site as "truly spectacular, dramatic, and quite unique" — the course plays hand-in-hand with nature alongside a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, offering panoramic ocean views from every single hole. Inspired by the wild open spaces of the great seaside links traditions, the course was sensitively developed on former sugarcane fields, now replanted with native grasses to create rich, rolling grasslands that encourage ecological diversity. Every step of the process has been carefully monitored with a view to achieving GEO Certified Development status, the global standard for sustainable course design and construction. Already a destination of international standing, La Réserve Golf Links hosted the DP World Tour 2023 Mauritius Open, cementing its place among the most exciting new courses in the world. An extraordinary setting, a championship pedigree, and an unwavering commitment to nature — your invitation to play awaits.
EastChampionshipAnahita Golf
Designed by golfing icon and former world number one Ernie Els, Anahita Golf Club is one of Mauritius's most celebrated and internationally acclaimed courses. Unveiled in 2008, the 18-hole course was crafted to blend seamlessly into its natural surroundings, with sprawling fairways stretching along the coastline and numerous holes offering breathtaking vistas of the crystalline turquoise lagoon. Built to meet international standards and drawing on Els's extensive experience across courses worldwide, Anahita appeals to golfers of all skill levels — a feast for the eyes as much as a genuine challenge. The course has also earned its place on the professional circuit, most notably hosting the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, where rising French star Matthieu Pavon secured a remarkable second-place finish in 2018. Pavon has since named Anahita as one of his favourite destinations for both leisure and golf — a testament to the enduring appeal of a course where world-class design meets one of the Indian Ocean's most stunning natural settings.
EastIslandIle aux Cerfs Golf Club

The island golf course is reachable only by a ‘special golf’ boat shuttle from its private jetty or by a scenic helicopter flip. This spectacular golf course in Mauritius covers 38 hectares of the iconic Ile aux Cerfs Island with the holes snaking along the preserved tropical flora and fauna of the island, boasting naturally in the undulating topography with volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies. All 18 holes of this island golf have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore. The unique island golf course of Ile aux Cerfs is definitely one of the most stupendous golf courses in the world, a “must play” as Colin Montgomerie puts it. It has been recognised to be the no. 1 of the Top-20 Golf Courses to play, once in your lifetime, by Golf World magazine.
